Students in first grade physical education will reinforce spacial and body awareness. Gross motor skills such as skipping, jumping, leaping, running, galloping, leaping, throwing, kicking, and catching will also be a major focus of the curriiculum. 

Students also participate in Brand X Method PE Curriculuim. Brand X Method is a way of getting kids motivated and invested in their fitness. It is easily adapatable to any elementary age group. This curricuclum blends nicely with traditional PE such as sports and team skills.
