Freeport Area students compete in the Pittsburgh Regional Science & Engineering Fair


It is with great pride that we announce the names of the Freeport Area High School and Middle School students whose work was recognized at the Pittsburgh Regional Science & Engineering Fair (PRSEF) competition held on March 22 at Heinz Field.  In all, 21 Freeport Area School District students from grades 7-12 participated, with overwhelming success.

PRSEF 2019


PRSEF provides a venue for students to demonstrate and communicate their science research or engineering projects to an audience of their peers and professionals from related fields.  PRSEF is a major initiative of Carnegie Science Center's STEM Programs—experiences that promote interest in, and awareness of, our region's scientific and technological achievements, career opportunities, and related issues.
