Welcome to the Freeport Area High School Library webpage. Our library has a collection of more than 15,000 books. There are ten computer stations and twenty two laptops that are networked within the district and allow the students to research subjects using modern technology.The senior high library is a member of the ACCESS PA POWER LIBRARY program. This membership enables our students to view the catalogs of over 2,700 school, public, academic, and special libraries across the state. This database includes over 35 million records. Students may borrow from these libraries through inter-library loan. Funded by tax dollars, membership also allows our students to use the ACCESS POWER LIBRARY subscription only databases that apply to a variety of subjects.
Our main goal as librarians is to assist students with research and the use of all library materials and resources. More content will be added throughout the school year. Please contact us with any comments, questions, or concerns.
