The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) requires that all school districts develop, implement and monitor a strategic / comprehensive plan that will guide the educational process. In November 2016, the Freeport Area School District will submit a board-approved plan, which was developed by a District-wide steering committee of school and community stakeholders. Prior to submission and final board approval, a 28-day review period is required.
Known as the District-Level Plan, the Comprehensive Plan has clear goals focusing on the most important aspects of our role as a school district. The goal of the process is to create a results-focused plan that enables our district to operationalize our mission and goals.
The District-Level Plan can be accessed for review by clicking on the link below. We hope you will assist us to ensure this planning effort is in line with our community's highest priorities by taking the time to share feedback with our district. To do so, please contact District Program Director Larry Robb.
