I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Tammie Rabbitt and I am the Reading Specialist at Buffalo Elementary.  I have worked in the Freeport Area School District at the elementary level since 2000.  I will be working with students at Buffalo this year in Grades K-5.

In grades K, 1 & 2, I will see the children several times a week in the Reading Room and/or in class. Students in grades 3-5 will be serviced during flex or during non-graded times.

In the Reading Room, your child will have the opportunity to review tested skills and vocabulary, phonemic awareness and phonics, improve fluency and practice comprehension strategies.
