Under the Elementary and Secondary Education Assistance (ESEA) and the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), school districts are required to notify parents on an annual basis their right to request information on the professional qualifications of their children's teachers.  Freeport Area School District, in compliance with this mandate, is hereby informing all parents/guardians of this requirement.  All professional teachers in the district are noted as "Qualified" as defined by Federal Guidelines.  Please contact the administration office for information about your child's teacher at (724) 295-5143.
