In order to attend Kindergarten in 2025-2026, children must be at least 5 years old on September 1, 2025
with performances on April 2-4, at 7 pm
and on April 5 at 2 pm
at the Freeport Area Middle School
The Freeport Area School District is teaming with Pittsburgh Public Schools and the Fox Chapel Area, South Fayette, and Beaver Area school districts on an after-school Unified eSports league. The Unified eSports league is the first of its kind in Pennsylvania, and only the second one in the nation. Fox Chapel Area will host an in-person Unified eSports tournament on May 8 from 5-7 pm at O’Hara Elementary School

Kennywood School Tickets are now available for online purchase. School Tickets can be used on any date prior to July 14
The Freeport Area Middle School has been recognized by the PA Don Eichhorn Schools “Schools to Watch” program developed by the National Forum to Accelerate Middle-Grades Reform
The Schools to Watch program recognizes schools based on their academic excellence, developmental responsiveness, social equity, and organizational structures and processes, as well as strong leadership, teachers who work together to improve curriculum and instruction, and a commitment to assessment and accountability to bring about continuous improvement
- Teacher - $100/day
- Nurse - $120/day
- Educational Assistant - $12/hour
- Custodian - $12/hour
- Cafeteria Worker - $11/hour (4 hours/day)
