The Freeport Area School District transports approximately 2,200 students daily. Two transportation contractors provide bus and van service to the Freeport Area School District's K-12 public school population and to the school district's non-public and special school students.  

Valley Lines and W.L. Roenigk are the school district's transportation contractors.  Valley Lines (724) 295-9150 operates a bus garage at 1395 Sarver Road in Slate Lick and W.L. Roenigk (724) 353-1515 operates a garage at 798 Ekastown Road in Sarver.
