School Nutrition Program

Children need healthy meals to learn.  Freeport Area School District offers healthy meals every school day.  The Freeport Area School District's school nutrition program is operated in-house by a staff of district-employed food services workers.  For more information, click the links provided below or contact the Food Service Director at (724) 295-5143, 1252 with any questions about the District's School Nutrition Program.

*All schools participating in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's School Breakfast Program are able to provide free breakfasts for all enrolled students during the 2024-2025 school year.  Under the universal free breakfast program ALL students can receive one (1) school breakfast on each school day regardless of whether they qualify for free or reduced-price meals.

Students in households that qualify for reduced school meals will receive free school meals during the 2024-2025 school year.

Additionally, program information may be made available in languages other than English.

To file a program discrimination complaint, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, AD-3027, found online at How to File a Program Discrimination Complaint and at any USDA office or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form. To request a copy of the complaint form, call (866) 632-9992.
