On Wednesday, November 18, 2026, the Freeport Area School District will receive bids for the Additions & Alterations to the Freeport Area High School, 625 South Pike Road, Sarver, PA 16055. Bids will be received up to 11:00 A.M., to the attention of Bradley T. Walker, Director of Finance & Operations, Freeport Area School District, 621 South Pike Road, Sarver, PA 16055.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Freeport Area High School Audion, on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 3:15 P.M.
It is the intent of the Owner to enter into separate contracts as follows:
Contract No. 1 General Construction.
Contract No. 2 HVAC Construction.
Contract No. 3 Plumbing Construction.
Contract No. 4 Electrical Construction.
Contract No. 5 Food Service Equipment.
Contract No. 6 Technology Construction.
Contract No. 7 Asbestos Removal.
All bids for Contracts No. 1 through No. 6 shall conform with Contract Documents prepared by HHSDR Architects/Engineers, 40 Shenango Ave., Sharon, PA, 16146, and 201 Century Building, 130 Seventh St., Pittsburgh, PA, 15222. Bidders who contact the Sharon office of HHSDR (724-981-8820) will receive a public link to the Contract Documents. No hard copies will be distributed from HHSDR and no deposit is required.
All bids for Contract No. 7 shall conform with the Contract Documents prepared by the Office of AGX Inc., 207 Pine Creek Road, Wexford, PA 15090 (724) 934-4249. Contractors desiring to bid the Asbestos Removal Contract shall contact AGX Inc.
Bids shall include a Bid Security Bond or Certified Check, payable to Freeport Area School District, in an amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, in accordance with Instructions to Bidders, as included in the Contract Documents.
Due to limited parking at the High School, sealed bids will be publicly opened and read at the above stated date at the Freeport Area Middle School’s Auditorium (Door 16), 629 South Pike Road, Sarver, PA, 16055 at 11:30 A.M. (half an hour after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids).
