The Freeport Area School District's Special Education Plan Report (07/01/2026-06/30/2029) is available for public review.  The report is available for review online here or in person by visiting the District Administration Office at 621 South Pike Road, Sarver.  The public review period will extend for twenty-eight (28) days.  Input and/or comments may be directed to Donald W. Dell, Jr., Special Services Coordinator, by email or by phone at 724-295-9020, ext 2200.  Following the public review period, the plan will be presented to the Board of School Directors for approval and then submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Education.  

The Special Education Plan Report outlines planning generated from District special education data, compliance monitoring, professional development activities, and training necessary to provide appropriate programs to students with disabilities. The District's Report describes the Special Education programs and services that are provided within the District and those Special Education programs and services which are accessed by the District from outside its geographical boundaries. The Special Education Plan Report reflects ongoing programs and services and incorporates anticipated changes in programming.
