FASD Summer Musical Theater Workshop
Join the Freeport Area Performing Arts family for a Summer Musical Theater Workshop on June 8-12 at the Freeport Area Middle School.
The workshop will highlight several elements of theater production including (but not limited to) acting, singing, choreography, costuming, and stagecraft. Students will have the opportunity to participate in various classes which will ultimately combine into a spectacular musical production open to the public on the final day of the workshop. Participants will be provided opportunities for artistic growth, self-expression, and teamwork by exposure to all aspects of a musical theater production. It promises to enrich their lives through participation in an artistic process of the highest integrity.
The workshop will be taught by the staff of Freeport Area High School’s musicals and assisted by fabulous high school students who have performed in productions of their own. The staff is some of the best and brightest in the field and we look forward to working with your young and talented actors and actresses this summer!
The workshop will take place from June 8 - June 12, Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM - 12:30 PM
