The primary goal of Applied English 12 is to enable students to learn and master reading, thinking, writing, speaking, and listening skills through the process of using language and literature as a reflection of “real life.” This course is designed to teach English and communication skills needed to achieve educational, vocational, and communication competencies. The students in this class will read widely, think critically, and write extensively. Emphasis will be placed on the development of vocabulary, research skills, and oral and written communication skills.
