Students in third grade music class demonstrate the understanding and recognition of note values, time signatures, and Question/Answer improvisation. They explore major and minor pentatonic melodies and begin to recognize notes on the staff.  They experiece musical form through movement and sound.  Students continue to be introduced to new grade level appropriate musical terminology.
