Per Governor Wolf's order, all schools in the Freeport Area School District are closed through the end of the 2019-2020 school year.  No events or activities will take place during the school closure, including over the weekends.  Remote instruction will continue in accordance with the District's Continuity of Education Plan.  Please visit the Updates for FASD Families page for information about grab & go meal distribution and for all of the latest news and information from the District.  Thank you for your patience during this time.

All K-5 Buffalo students are required to provide their own smocks (paint shirts) for Art class this year (as has been required in the past for all grades at Buffalo).

Parents should send in an old, "school-appropriate" T-shirt for their child to use this year in Art class. The shirt should be in reasonably good condition, free of any large holes, and okay to stain. (T-shirts are best; button-down shirts or aprons are difficult to put on/do not cover the children completely.)

The smock must be brought to school in a plastic bag with the child's name, teacher, and grade written on the bag. (Plastic Ziploc bags that snap shut to seal are best and resist ripping.)

For health reasons, all smocks must be kept in bags, separate from each other, and will not be shared among students.

All smocks will be stored in boxes within the classrooms and brought to Art as needed.

Please let Mrs. Clark know if you are unable to provide a smock, as we do have some extra shirts and bags in the Art Room that can be used

All children are still strongly encouraged to "dress for a mess" on their Art day(s) each week, as accidents can still occur.

Thank you.
