The sixth grade English/Language Arts course provides a balance of reading, writing, language, speaking, and listening skills.  Students will master essential vocabulary, comprehension skills, and strategies while reading from grade-level fiction, nonfiction text, and poetry.  Students will progress through the writing process as they plan, draft, revise, edit, and publish narrative, argumentative, and expository writing.
