  • Classroom Rules:

  • Behavior Consequences:
    • 1st - Warning
    • 2nd - Discuss/reflect with teacher
    • 3rd - Written reflection to be signed by guardian and                       
                returned the following day
    • 4th- Lunch Detention
      • The severity of the action may require some consequences to be skipped

 

  • Classroom Procedures:
    • Completely copy any assignments in assignment journal
    • Grab your math journal and complete the warm-up activity
    • Review/check homework
    • Complete guided notes and store in math binder
    • Participate in small group activity to reinforce that days lesson

 

  • Class Supplies: pencils, paper notebook, textbook, math binder, folder, homework, assignment journal, (optional: dry erase marker/eraser)

 

  • Attendance: Students are responsible for any missed work. They will be given 1 day per assignment to complete the assignment for each day missed. Tests/quizzes/projects must be made up in a reasonable amount of time.

 

  • Grades: The students’ mastery of the subject will be determined through tests, quizzes, homework, projects, and classwork.

 

  • Homework Policy:
    • Homework will be posted on the white board as well as sent through a Remind text
    • Homework will be given out nightly
    • Perfect homework = 2 points based off of completion
    • Late homework can receive ½ credit if turned in by the following day (students are responsible to see me in order to earn the point)
    • Projects will lose a letter grade each day the project is late

 

  • Extra Help: In addition to class time, I will be available before and after school hours for additional help upon request. This support can be initiated by the student, teacher, or parents. Arrangements must be made in advance.
