Several awards are issued each year for the most outstanding choral members.
The Fred Waring Directors Award for Chorus goes to the top individual students who has made the largest impact in the choral music at Freeport. The selected student receives an engraved plaque and has their name permanently displayed on the high school's music recognition wall.
