District Facts and Figures

The Freeport Area School District educates approximately 2,000 students in four school buildings.

The District was formed in 1969 to serve Freeport Borough and South Buffalo Townships in Southwestern Armstrong County and Buffalo Township in southeastern Butler County.

The District encompasses over 50 square miles in Buffalo Township, Freeport Borough, and South Buffalo Township.
