Individuals who reside within the Freeport Area School District are subject to the Earned Income Tax rate of 1% of wages earned.

Buffalo Township - PSD# 100203

If you are employed through an employer, other than yourself, your employer is required to withhold the 1% tax from your wages.

Local Services Tax (LST)

All individuals who are employed within the Freeport Area School District are subject to the Local Services Tax (LST) of $52.00 per calendar year.  Employers are required to withhold the tax from employee wages.
