Freeport Area School District is committed to complying with all federal and state regulations controlling asbestos and to take whatever steps are necessary to ensure students and employees a healthy and safe environment in which to learn and work. An original inspection of all District buildings was completed in 1988 to determine whether asbestos-containing materials are present. All asbestos-containing material is re-inspected every three years. You are welcome to review a copy of the District's asbestos management plan in the District Administration Office during regular business hours.
