Join Us for the 5th Annual FASDF Outing
The Freeport Area School District Foundation's (FASDF) fundraiser, a golf outing at Buffalo Golf Course, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 5, 2018. Please consider joining us at our event by providing a foursome, sponsoring a tee, becoming a corporate sponsor, and/or donating prizes to benefit the students of the Freeport Area School District.
The golf outing will be a four-person scramble with a shotgun start. A hot dog and chips will be served at the turn, along with three drink tickets for your choice of beverage throughout the day. A catered dinner and awards for closest to the pin, longest drive, longest putt, and top two lowest rounds, along with many door prizes, will be provided following the tournament. Cost is $80 per person/$320 a foursome.
Funds raised at the golf outing will go directly to yearly venture grants for Freeport classrooms, which will be provided to support innovative teaching and learning initiatives. These grants, to be offered in the 2018-2019 school year, will be awarded to enable unique teaching strategies to become reality for our students. By putting additional funds directly into the classroom, the hope is to have subsequent enhancements of the school’s regular curriculum. The number of grants and amounts available will be based on funds raised by the Foundation at the golf outing.
