Welcome to Fourth Grade! 

This is my ninth year teaching English and Language Arts in 4th grade at Buffalo Elementary.  I attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania where I received a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a Master’s degree in reading.   I have eighteen years of teaching experience in Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Virginia.    I have taught as a Title I reading teacher, a fourth and sixth grade teacher, and a RTII reading coach. Additionally, I have worked on a reading research study with the University of Pittsburgh that examined teaching children with Down syndrome to read.  I enjoy teaching fourth graders in the subjects of reading, writing, and grammar.
