Bienvenue!

My name is Stacey Chounet, and I am the French teacher at the high school. This is my 11th year teaching French, but I have also spent time teaching various levels of English as well as an introductory course focused on French, Spanish, and German. 

I earned my BSED in French K-12 from Slippery Rock University, and my Master of Arts - Secondary Education & Teacher Leadership from California University of Pennsylvania. In addition to both of these institutions, I also attended the Collège International de Cannes in Cannes, France to study the French language and culture more in-depth for 3 months. 

While I know that our world looks a little different now, I’m looking forward to getting back into the classroom and share my love of the French language and culture with all of my students in levels 1 through 5.
