Asbestos Management Plan Notice

Freeport Area School District is committed to complying with all federal and state regulations controlling asbestos and to take whatever steps are necessary to ensure students and employees a healthy and safe environment in which to learn and work.  An original inspection of all District buildings was completed in 1988 to determine whether asbestos-containing materials are present.  All asbestos-containing material is re-inspected every three years.  You are welcome to review a copy of the District's asbestos management plan in the District Administration Office during regular business hours.  All inquiries regarding the asbestos management plan and asbestos-related issues should be directed to the District's Maintenance Supervisor at 724-295-5141, extension 1251.
